Can Cuil Threat to Google?
Guil is a new search engine company which made by ex-Google staffer Anna Patterso.
CUIL.COM indexes some 120 billion Web pages. WOW. It is so strong search engine than Google engine. I tried to get in yesterday. i did not get in at 3:00 AM this morning due to much more trafics.
I did try again today 6:00 PM. it was running very well. I really like cuil.com. For example, When i type my school's name, Cuil shows me a directly link below the search engine icon. they do not show links which are not useful for us.
I am looking forward to whether cuil.com will threat Google or not.

smarthinking.com did a good job for online tutoring service. Do you know that they are not only working with Univeristy communities but also working with bookstories. However, There are not using the forum discussion such as cramster.com. Samarthinking may just only want to focus on writing tutoring. They are trying to make more subjects such as math, Engineering etc... in future. smarthiking will be most popular online tutoring service in the US. As I know that onling turoing had reaching $26 million marketing in 2007. most of marketing is from home tutoring. what is about 2009?

Do you reall think ADDIE Model can be used by instructioal design for online learning ?
I have seen a lot of criticized by some as being too systematic. it is too linear, too inflexible, too constraining, and even too time-consuming to implement. is it really not useful?
However, ADDIE model may not appropriate or fit our new web 2.0 desgin.
the best way to desgin new model of e-learning is Johnson's model. his model is for the use-centered model. My suggestion is that ADDIE and User-centered models can be worked at the same time. no doubt at all
ADDIE Model
Thare are five-phase instructional design model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.

I have read his article today. Dr Karrer who is CEO of techempower. He mentioned that interesting online training and eLearning has become pretty much synonymous with Online Training. As I know, synonymous with Online Training has been very popular in the world such as WEBEX.COM which is using synonymous activities on-line conference.
Dr Karrer pointed out some various problem of E learning design
where we have to be responsible for our learning,
where learning and work are often not separate activities,
where there's just too much for each of us to learn so we have to make choices,
where we have to continually evaluate our sources of information,
where we have to Stop Reading and instead Skim Dive Skim
I had the same questions with Dr Karrer . eLearning with Online Training is problematic . do they both relate together? It is really confusing me.
